We started with a simple observation: overseas plants were being stopped by spare parts that nobody in the supply chain wanted to deal with — obsolete references, mixed lists, awkward quantities and no obvious source. Everything we have built since is an answer to that problem.
What we do
- Find the part. Exact reference first, including suffixes; equivalents only when the original genuinely cannot be obtained, and clearly labelled as such.
- Verify it. Photographs, condition checks and functional testing on critical items before anything ships.
- Report honestly. New, unused surplus, refurbished or used — stated plainly, with the evidence.
- Document it. Invoices, packing lists and test or conformance records prepared to match your requirements.
- Consolidate and ship it. Multiple suppliers brought into one consignment to keep freight sensible.
- Stand behind it. When something is not right, we resolve it with the supplier rather than handing the problem back.
What we have learned
That most sourcing failures are communication failures — an incomplete reference, an unstated deadline, an assumed approval for an equivalent part. That a realistic lead time is worth more than an optimistic one. And that the buyers who stay with us are the ones who send the difficult lines first, not the easy ones.
Looking ahead
Our direction is unchanged: get better at the hard cases, shorten the time between a request and a usable answer, and keep the paperwork clean enough that nothing sits in customs.
